Ahead of CES 2013, official images of Sony’s upcoming flagship Android smartphones have been leaked, named Xperia Z aka Sony Yuga which had a hands-on treatment early and Xperia ZL aka Odin. Both images hosted on SonyMobile.com and file names confirm names of both smartphones. The leak comes before official press conference scheduled for January 7.
The Sony Xperia Z is a huge device, which will join the race of 5-inch device with 1080p screens and quad-core processor under the hood. The smartphone is expected to pack 12MP camera and run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean at the launch.
On the other hand, the Xperia ZL will be a heavier device with a unibody design. The device will have a small cover on the back allowing access to the SIM card and microSD card slots. On Xperia ZL aka Odin, front-facing camera sits lower-right corner of the device. Anyway, more details of its specs are yet to be revealed, but there are only a few days for the official announcement, so stay tuned.
