Olympus announces Stylus SH-50 iHS, Tough TG-830 iHS, Tough TG-630, SZ-16 iHS, SZ-15 and Tough TG-2 iHS
At this CES 2013, Olympus has a slew of cameras for its Stylus series including tough and rough series. All of the cameras will be rolling out this year, each one with special features. The model includes by name, Stylus SH-50 iHS, Stylus Tough TG-830 iHS, Stylus Tough TG-630, Stylus SZ-16 iHS, Stylus SZ-15 and the Stylus Tough TG-2. We have more details on each one them, including specs and price, let’s break it down.
First we have the Stylus SH-50 iHS, boasting to be world’s first point and shoot with 5-axis video stabilization and 3-axis stabilization for still images. The camera is capable of recording videos at 1080p Full HD resolution, 720p films at 120fps, as well as 240fps in HVGA resolution. The camera will be available in March for a price of $299.99. The camera comes in two flavors of color, black and white.
Next one is the Stylus Tough TG-830 iHS. a mid-range compact shooter with ability to shoot videos at 1080p. The camera has a 16-MP back-side illuminated CMOS sensor, Truepic VI image processor and records at a frame rate of 120 per second in 720p and 240 fps in HVGA resolution. The camera is also capable of High-Speed Sequential shooting of still images with a push of a button. The Olympus Stylus SH-50 iHS is also a waterproof to 33ft, crushproof from heights up to 6.6ft, shockproof and freezeproof to 14F as well as featuring a dust-resistant body.
The Stylus SZ-16 iHS is a compact camera with a 24x optical wide-angle zoom specially optimized for movies making The camera sports a a 16-megapixel CMOS sensor, the Truepic VI image processor and Hand-Held Starlight mode. The Stylus SZ-16 iHS can certainly shoot videos at 1080p resolution and features HDR backlight adjustment, Telephoto Macro mode, built-in dual image stabilization, eleven Magic Filters, Smart Panorama, and Beauty Make-up mode. The camera is priced at $229.99 and will come in silver and white, get ready to grab the device in March 2013.
Up next is the Stylus Tough TG-630. an entry-level camera with same many proof-features like, waterproof to 16ft, shockproof from heights up to 5.5ft, freezeproof to temperatures as low as 14F and dustproof. The camera packs a backlit CMOS sensor and like other cameras a Truepic VI image processor. The device also supports high-speed sequential shooting and delivers videos at full HD 1080p resolution. The camera also features dual-image stabilization, backlit HDR, Multi-Motion Movie Image Stabilization, and Hand-Held Starlight mode. The Olympus Stylus Tough TG-630 camera is priced at $199.99 and will be offered in white, red, black, and blue in March 2013.
Here We have Stylus SZ-15, which is almost similar to the SZ-16 iHS, a compact camera with a 24x optical wide-angle zoom. The camera features include built-in dual image stabilization, Telephoto Macro, eleven Magic Filters, Smart Panorama, and Beauty Make-up mode. The Stylus SZ-15 will be offered in three colors, silver, black, and red for a price of $199.99, and release date is set to March 2013.
Last but not least, We have the flagship rugged Olympus Stylus Tough TG-2 iHS, a device with an improved waterproof body to 50ft as well as shockproof from heights of 6.6ft, freezeproof to 14F, crushproof to 220lbs and dustproof. The camera comes with a in-body Macro-Zoom and an expanded lineup of system lenses and accessories including the MACRO LED adapter.
