Panasonic has unveiled several cameras and camcorders at the CES 2013 and more interesting one among them is latest Panasonic A100. What makes it interesting is that it is fully wearable with a ear hook which allows users to put the camera on the ear for a point of view shooting. Don’t worry about helmet, the device can also be mounted to a helmet.
The Panasonic A100 is a water-resistant device with an IPX8 waterproof design and you can even shoot videos in water up to 5 feet deep for 30 minutes. Don’t worry about the device getting dusty as it is also dustproof certified. The camcorder is equipped with a F2.5 lens for better performance in low-light and features Level Shot to automatically correct tilted images.
The camcorder is capable of shooting videos at 1080p resolution and there is WiFi connectivity making it easy to stream videos at Full resolution using Ustream. The A100 can also be used with smartphone or tablet for watching videos and even control like start and stop using your smartphone. To prevent blurring, the camera features image stabilizer technology.
You can record videos in multiple resolutions including 1920 x 1080 at 60 fps, 1280 x 720 at 120 fps, and 640 x 360 at 240 fps. For noise control while outdoor shooting, there is Wind Noise Cut functionality which helps reduce excessive wind noise. The battery inside the camera is better for 140 minute of recording.
