Polaroid debuts M10, M7 Android Tablets; Specs and Price
Polaroid has unveiled a new 10.1 inch Android tablet at the CES 2013 targeting at those looking for affordable device with a decent specs for the price. The tablet dubbed Polaroid M10 also has sibling named M7 with a 7-inch display.
The M10 is powered by a a quad-core Cortex A7 CPU and sports a 10 inch display with a decent 1,280 x 800 resolution. The tablet has a 1GB of RAM, 5MP camera on the rear side, 2MP front-facing camera and am HDMI out. The tablet has a 16GB of on-board storage with a microSD card slot for further memory expansion. The tablet runs on Android Jelly Bean with customized UI.
The Polaroid M10 has a brushed-metal finish on the rear that gives it a more elegant look. The tablet is priced at $229 and the release date is in this spring.
On the other hand, the Polaroid M7 is 7 inch tablet with a dual-core processor inside, but features display with same 1,280 x 800 resolution. The 7-inch M7 packs 1GB of RAM, a 2-MP front camera, 8GB of internal storage and microSD card slot. The tablet is running on Jelly Bean OS with same skin of tile-like widgets, which resembles Windows Phone 8 Metro interface. The tablet is even cheaper with a price tag of $129 and will be released in this spring.
