Rocstor has introduced its next generation external drives. The drives include Amphibious X5, Hawker HX and Lancer LX and all come ruggedized and built with Aircraft Grade Aluminum Alloy and Shock‐Absorbent Casing.
The Amphibious X5 offers Real‐Time Hardware Based AES‐256 Encryption together with FIPS and NIST Cryptographic Engine validation and there are both USB 3.0 and 2.0 making sure you get the best out of the heard drive. The portable hard drive also carries an eSATA port and FireWire 800. The Amphibious X5 is compatible with both Mac and Microsoft Windows OS. The drives are offered in variety of storage, ranging from 64GB, 512GB Solid State (DDS) and 250GB to 1TB (HDD).
Hawker HX and Lancer LX also have almost same features except the Hawker HX lacks FireWire connection and pass code access. The Hawker HX and Lancer LX will be available in storage ranging from 64GB to 256GB SDD and 500GB to 1TB HDD models. unfortunately, there is word on pricing but Rocstor is expected to release all three portable hard drives this month.
