Samsung couldn’t wait till CES to unveil its new monitors, named Samsung Series 7 SC770 and the non-touch Series 7 SC750. The new Samsung Series 7 SC770 Touch and Series 7 SC750 monitors come in at 24 and 27-inches respectively with a high-resolution screen, at 1920 x 1080 Full HD.
The Series 7SC770 is Samsung’s first Windows 8 optimized monitor that features an MVA panel with brightness, at 250 cd/m2 and 178-degree viewing angles, adjustable stand that can tilt up to 60 degrees and ultra-thin bezel. The screen supports ten finger multitouch, for pinching, twisting, dragging and other usual gestures. The monitor also offers an HDMI port.
On the other hand, the larger SC750 non-touch monitor has a WVA (Wide Viewing Angle) LED-backlit LCD panel with a 300 cd/m2 brightness and a 5,000:1 contrast ratio. The monitor has a long brushed metal stand and you can rotate the monitor 90 degree for portrait-orientation use. The monitor also offers connectivity features like DVI, DisplayPort, or a USB hub and HDMI input.
Anyway, release date and price details are still a mystery, but expected to be released in Q1 2013. The monitors will be displayed at the CES 2013.
