Velocity Micro announces Edge Mini desktop, Cruz D610 and Q610 tablets

Ahead of CES, Velocity Micro has announced a series of devices which will be displayed at the CES 2013. The new products include a mini desktop PC and two tablets on its Cruz series. The tablets are named Cruz D610 and Cruz Q610  and  the letter D and C suggest what are inside, Dual-core and Quad-core processors, yes Velocity Micro seems to have decided to try a race in high-end tablet as well.

The Velocity Micro Edge mini which the company claims to be the smallest in that kind, is powered by a 3rd Generation Intel Core i3 processor and features mSATA hard drives and runs on full version of Windows.  The Velocity Micro Edge mini is priced at $499 for starters.

In the tablet series, the Cruz D610 is a dual-core tablet while the Cruz Q610 is powered by a quad core ARM processor  and both feature 10-inch displays and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Tablets are affordable and price starts at $199.

The company will also be displaying a slew of devices at the CES 2013 apart from the tablets and the mini desktop. Among the devices there are Ultrabook, Edge All-in-One desktop and VMultra Drive, a a USB external DVD-RW (or optional Blu ray), USB 3.0 hub, media Reader, and 500GB Hard Drive in one. Velocity also has gaming and mainstream desktops named Raptor Z90 and Vector Z25, price starting at $749.

The Velocity Micro Cruz tablets are expected to be shipped  by the end of March while release dates for other devices are mystery.
