ZTE Grand S announced; 6.9mm thick, 5" Full HD Display

At CES, ZTE has finally unveiled its anticipated Android smartphone Grand S, which was leaked before. The new ZTE Grand S is yet another device to join the 5-inch smartphones like Sony Xperia Z, Huawei Ascend D2 and Droid DNA. It seems like 5-inch with Full HD resolution is gradually becoming standard to smartphones. Let’s make a peek into the specification details.

The ZTE Grand S has a neat design with slim profile making it stand out from the crowd. The company brags about its slim profile, which is just 6.9mm thin.

The Grand S is powered by a quad-core 1.7 GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro and boasts 5″ 1920x1080p display. The device packs 2 GB RAM, 13 MP rear cam and a 2 MP front-facing capable of 1080p video shooting, 16GB of internal storage and microSD card slot for further expansion of the memory. The smartphone is running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS.

Unfortunately, company had to scarifies something for the thin profile, which is its  battery capacity. The device only has a 1,780 mAh inside and it is yet to be seen how this device with an over clocked processor and 5 inch full HD display works on a 1,780 mAh battery. Anyway, pricing and release date for the ZTE Grand S are still mystery, but stay tuned we will keep you posted.
