ZTE has become an unexceptional part of the tech arena. Introducing several devices recently, the company is trying to attract potential tablet and smartphone market share. Now the Chinese company has added yet another tablet to its portfolio as ZTE V8, and it will join the 8-inch tablet series out there.
The ZTE V8 is a mid-end Android tablet with a decent specs under the hood and should attract those who look for affordable and an alternative to mainstream tablets like iPad mini even though it may be able to put itself next to iPad mini. Interestingly the tablet has a display of same aspect ratio at 4:3 and same resolution.
The tablet is powered by an unknown 1.4GHz dual-core CPU and packs 8-inch display with a decent 1,024 x 768 resolution, 1GB RAM, 2MP rear unit, a 0.3 MP front-facing camera, HDMI port and 3,700mAh battery. The tablet has 4 GB of built-in storage and microSD card slot.
The table measures 200x156x11.07 mm and will be running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS right out of the box. Unfortunately, ZTE hasn’t announced release date and pricing for the V8 tablet. The tablet should hit several market across the world, and will be displayed at the MWC 2013.
