Samsung releases Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean for Galaxy S II I9100G

Samsung has started rolling out the Android 4.1.2 Android Jelly Bean for old flagship smartphone Galaxy S II GT-I9100. The smartphone which was the flagship device in 2011 is finally getting latest  version of the Android OS and this is a reason for users to be happy. The update should reach the Galaxy S II owners gradually, but keep an eye on your device, you will be notified when the update is available.

The new update is coming with all the glory including Project Butter enhancements for smoother experience. The update will also bring latest  TouchWiz enhancements, including Nature UX, Pop-up Play, Smart Stay and expanded notifications. The new notification helps you take any necessary action from notification screen, like return a call, emails and more.

The update is coming as OTA, and if you haven’t yet got any notification for the update, you could try manually using Samsung Kies software by connecting your device with your PC.
