Lenovo introduces Flex 14 Ultrabook; releasing on September 5th
Lenovo continues unleashing new ultraboks. The company has introduced a new ultrabook dubbed Lenovo Flex 14 which looks like Yoga 11 by its design, internally the Flex 14 is completely different though. The Flex 14 can be folded partially pushing back its keyboard area for watching videos.
The Lenovo Flex 14 is powered by the Intel Core i5-4200U processor and sports a 14-inch screen with a standard 1,366×788-pixel resolution. The ultrabook comes with an 8GB of RAM and Nvidia GeForce GT 740M graphics for better graphic experience while playing games. The Lenovo Flex 14 has 500 GB of hard drive.
The ultrabook also offers a manual keyboard switch for turning off the keyboard, which prevents hitting keys unknowingly.In terms of software, unlike Yoga 11, the Flex 14 is running on Windows 8.
Lenovo has also announced its price and release details. Interestingly, the Lenovo Flex 14 is cheaper than Yoga 11. The system is priced at S$999 in Singapore, that is about $780 in US and the release date is set to September 5.
