Xolo Q1000S Android Smartphone announced; Specs and Price
Xolo has unveiled a new Android device with an aesthetic design and slim form factor. The device is named Xolo Q1000s, featuring round corners, flat front and back and thin bezel, giving the device a premium look.
Spec-wise, the device is pretty standard to many current high-end devices. The Xolo Q1000s is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor and 1 GB RAM. The device sports a 5-inch 720p IPS display with OGS technology, that will give more vibrant colors.
Moreover, on the back sits a 13MP camera with a BSI 2 sensor and 5MP camera on the front for video call. The device has a 16 GB of internal storage and microSD card slot which supports up to 32GB.
For connectivity, there are 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, microUSB v2.0 and Bluetooth 4.0. The phone supports Mini-SIM and packs a 2,500mAh battery, which the company claims to be good for 53 hours on audio playback and up to 327 hours stand-by on 3G and 425 hours on 2G.
The smartphone is running on Android 4.2 right out of the box. The device is set to be released in the coming weeks in India and has been priced at INR18,999 (about $300).
