Low-end Samsung Smartphones to get Android KitKat Update

Samsung has already planned for updating its high-end smartphones to latest Android KitKat but the owners of the entry-level devices might be wishing they got updated too. There you seem to be lucky, according to a recent leak, Samsung is preparing to update its affordable range to the new Android 4.4 KitKat.

The leak reveals many devices such as Galaxy S4 mini, Galaxy S3 mini, Galaxy S Advance, Galaxy Core etc are under investigation that if they could run the Android Kitkat. This leak is more credible  especially when you know that the minimum required-RAM for running Android OS has been reduced to just 512MB.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy S4 and other high end devices are expected to get Android KitKat update in January, so you could expect the update in couple of months since the high-end device update.

Despite the fact that this is not an official announcement,  the report certainly gives you hope and owners of such entry-level smartphones can certainly expect the update.
