Oppo R1 with 5″ display goes official in China
Oppo has finally announced its latest device which had been in the rumor mill for a while. The new device is Oppo R1, with 5 inch display and mid-end specs under the hood. The device was announced for China, but there is no word on its global availability.
The Oppo R1 is running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean-based Color OS. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM. The Oppo R1 features a 5″ IPS display with 720 x 1280 pixels of resolution and 16 GB of built-in memory.
The smartphone also features rear camera, 8 MP with F/2.0 wide aperture that company claims to deliver better images in low light. On the front, you have a 5MP camera for video call.
The Oppo R1 is pretty slim measuring at 142.7 x 70.4 x 7.1 and weighs in 140 grams. The device houses 2,410 mAh battery.
The company has already listed the device on its store, and the unlocked version of the phone will be available for a price of CNY2,498($410)
