Acer to release Chromebook C720P-2600; Specs and Price
Acer has finally unveiled its new series ahead of CES 2014. Acer has added yet another notebook for Chromebook lovers, named Acer Chromebook C720P-2600. People using Chromebook are increasing day by day and Acer is just making sure it has enough offers for the consumers. Recent account reveals that Chromebook has gained over 21% of all US notebook sales in 2013.
Let’s take look at what the new Acer device has to offer. The Acer Chromebook C720P-2600 comes in a new color called Moonstone and has a neat and minimalistic form factor that can certainly catch your eyes. The notebook has a 11.6 inch D LED back-lit display with 1,366×768 pixel resolution and supports 10-point touch which will allow users to interact with the device more easily utilizing touch functionality such as swipe, tap and pinch to zoom.
Inside the new Acer C720P-2600 is a an Intel Celeron 2955U processor based on Intel Haswell coupled with a 2GB of DDR3 RAM that will make sure an improved performance and smoother multitasking capability. There is also 32GB of SSD that will boot the device in under seven seconds. The notebook can last up to 7.5 hours at a charge.
For connectivity, the Acer Chromebook C720P-2600 has a 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi and for video call there is an HD webcam. The device is also coming with an 100 GB of Google Drive storage for the first two years since purchase. And Acer is also offering 12 free Gogo in-air internet passes, so stay connected on flights as well.
Finally pricing, the Acer Chromebook C720P-2600 is riced at $299.99 in the U.S and will be released in next week.
