Acer to release Iconia A1-830 Tablet; Specs and Price
Acer has unveiled yet another tablet aimed at budget customers ahead of CES 2014. The new tablet is dubbed Acer Iconia A1-830, and is built around Intel Atom Clover Trail+. The tablet looks neat in design and has a 7.9 inch display with round corners. The new tablet has aluminum finish on the back and a metal mid-frame. The tablet is thin at 8.15mm making the device more portable and sleek.
The new tablet is for anyone who are looking for affordable device with decent specs inside. The tablet is powered by an Intel Atom Clover Trail+ Z2560 1.6GHz processor and sports a 7.9 inch LED back-lit IPS display, 1GB of LPDDR2 SDRAMM and 16GB of onboard storage. Thanks to the microSD card slot, you can expand the memory up to 32GB via microSD card.
The tablet has rear camera capable of shooting videos at full 1080p HD resolution while the front-facing camera for video call can deliver videos at 720p, so that you can have a high-definition video call with your families and friends.
For multimedia, there is dual speakers which will ensure very rich sound and the Acer Iconia A1-830 packs a battery that is claimed to last 7.5 hours at a charge.
The new Acer tablet is also offered with optional accessories which include Acer Crunch Keyboard and it can also function as a stand for the tablet. There is a Crunch Cover, a microfiber fold-out cover with multiple angle settings.
The Acer Iconia A1-830 tablet is running on Android and will be sold for price of $179.99. Unfortunately, Acer hasn’t revealed the release date for the device, but according to the company the device will go on sale in Q1 2014 in USA.
