Asus ZenFone 4, 5 and 6 with Intel Atom CPU announced
Along with the tablets and displays, Asus has also introduced its beautiful ZenFone series at the CES 2014. The smartphone comes in variety of colors and very neat design as well as in 3 sizes which include the ZenFone 4, ZenFone 5, and ZenFone 6. The devices are coming with company’s own ZenUI, newly introduced user interface atop Android OS.
As name suggests, the devices are in different sizes, first up is the ZenFone 4 with 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z2520 processor with Quad-Thread Hyperthreading technology. The smartphone features 5MP rear camera and a front facing camera. The device has a 4 inch WVGA display with 800 x 480 resolution and will be running on Android 4.3. The smartphone will be available in five different colors.
On the other hand, the ZenFone 5 is slightly higher-end. The Asus ZenFone 5 is powered by a 2GHz Intel Atom processor and sports a a 8MP rear camera with a BSI sensor and image stabilization. The device boasts of ASUS’s PixelMaster technology and will be available in red, white, black, and gold.
Finally the high-end of all The Asus ZenFone 6, a phablet with generous 720p HD resolution display and 2GBz Intel Atom processor inside. The device has 1GB of RAM, 13MP camera and relatively juicy battery. The ZenFone 6 is also running on Android 4.3.
Release date and price for these devices are yet to be announced, but the new series from Asus is an indicative that the company is trying to make a foothold on the ground.
