Fujifilm FinePix S1 rugged Camera official; Specs and Price

Even though many of you may have stopped using cameras due to the wave of smartphones with high megapixel cameras , doesn’t mean cameras completely replaced by smartphones, there are professionals and they want more capability and protection to their device in severe conditions, that is why companies like Fujifilm still exists. The company has announced yet another beast to its camera series dubbed Fujifilm FinePix S1  at the CES 2014, which is touted to be worlds first weather resistant camera with super zoom bridge technology. The camera is protected from both rain and dust, so capture your moment in rain or dusty wind.

The camera is not just about its rugged features,  Fujifilm FinePix S1 camera also features 16MP CMOS sensor, a vari-angle 3” LCD display  and an alternative a 0.2” EVF which can be used in case you don’t want to use LCD. Moreover, the camera comes with a bright 50x super zoom 24mm f/2.8-5.6 24-1200mm zoom lens capable of ultra-fast zoom speed and 2x Intelligent Digital Zoom that will let you zoom up to 100x.

The camera is coming with full HD video recording capability as well as 5-Axis Image Stabilization and 3D Noise Reduction which prevents blurring from vertical, horizontal and rotational movement.

There is connectivity features too like WiFi that will lets you wirelessly share photos to smartphones and tablets. The camera also offers Fujifilm Camera Remote app that lets users to use their mobile devices as a remote. The camera is priced at $499.95 and will be available on sale in March 2014, exact release date is not available though.
