Gigabyte launches Aorus X7 gaming Laptop; Specs and Price
Gigabyte has finally unveiled what is in its disposal for gamers. The company announced an ultra thin gaming laptop at CES 2014. “Laptops are still worth buying” someone might think like that, because of tablets and smartphone frenzy, gradually we all are moving to smaller devices with higher capability and features. But when it comes to gaming notebooks, there may not be much alternatives and it still keeps stability in the computer market , that is where the new Gigabyte gaming device comes into play. The notebook is dubbed Gigabyte Aorus X7.
The Gigabyte Aorus X7 is extremely thin and weighs less compared to many gaming notebooks out there that makes the Aorus standout from the crowd. The laptop measures 392×22.9×263 mm and weighs 2.9kg and boasting a premium matte finish and has a backlit illuminated keyboard.
The Aorus is powered by the Intel’s 4th-gen Core i7-4700HQ processor clocked at 2.4GHz to 3.4GHz and sports a 17.3-inch wide screen with 1920 x 1080 resolution. The device has four RAM slots and can be customized with 4GB or 8GB of RAM. For the powerful gaming and graphic experience, there is a an NVIDIA GTX 765M SLI GDDR5 4GB video card inside. The laptop also has 2-watt speaker and a subwoofer and for connectivity and a built-in 1.3MP webcam for video calling.
The Gigabyte Aorus comes in different storage capacity based on location it is sold. Th storage used on the system is a combination of mSATA 128GB/256GB drives and 2.5-inch HDDs up to 1TB. For connectivity Gigabyte Aorus X7 features WiFi, Bluetooth, and a Killer LAN chip and packs a 73.26Wh battery. The gaming laptop will be offered for a starting price $2099 while release date and availability are still a mystery.
