HP to launch Slate 6, Slate 7 VoiceTab phablets next Month, Press Shots spotted
HP is not done yet, it seems the company is prepping couple of new mobile devices, but this time the company is trying its luck on Android platform instead of its own OS. The company seems not want to stay away from the Android frenzy in the market and the company reportedly planning to introduce two new devices next month, which include HP Slate 6 phablet and Slate 7 VoiceTab phablet and tablet.
The first render of the upcoming HP device was spotted on PhoneArena.com, which cited an unknown tipster. The HP Slate 6 VoiceTab is expected to be powered by basic 1 GHz quad-core Marvell processor and sport 1280×720 pixels HD display, dual SIM network support, and price around the very affordable $200.
Next one is the HP Slate 7 VoiceTab, which is a 7″ tablet with cellular support. The device is expected to feature 1 GHz quad-core Marvell chipsets, a smaller camera on the back but seems to lack LED flash. The tablet is expected to sport 720p display and may come in 8 and 16 GB flavors of storage.
The tipster seems not to have mentioned exact release date for the new HP devices, but hinted as soon as next month. The new devices are expected to come with highly competitive price tag around $200-$250 price range.
