HTC One X+ for AT&T gets Android 4.2.2 and Sense 5.0 Update
HTC One X+ was one of the flagship devices when it was launched . Although KitKat has arrived, the AT&T version of the device is yet to get Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update and many of you might have been waiting for it. Finally the company has started rolling out the anticipated update for the device with new Sense 5.0 , sweetening things a bit more. If you are a HTC One X user, HTC said that it would releasing the update for you shortly after the update for HTC One X+.
The update brings many new features as well as enhancements. Now the device can have BlinkFeed streaming news and social media feed as well as new photo gallery and Miracast. Other new features include Battery Percentage Notification which gives you more accurate measurement of juice left and Daydream screen saver. There are also new lock screen, updated app tray, new notifications bar and quick settings, Auto Exposure , Auto Focus lock on the camera and a new recent apps list.
Once the update is ready for your device, you should get a notification, if you haven’t yet got the update, give a try via Settings -> Software Update. When you update your device, make sure you are at least on on WiFi and have 35% battery charge. According to AT&T, the update will take 20 minutes to complete.
