Nokia Black Update releases for Lumia 520, 720
To regain its past Glory Nokia launched a few entry-level Windows Phone 8 devices, especially targeted at the budget customers, one of the devices is Nokia Lumia 520, top moving in the market and it seems because of that, Nokia does care the device, proving that, the company has just started rolling out Nokia Black update. The update is reportedly being pushed for both Nokia Lumia 520 and 720.
The update brings many improvements and features. With the new update, the Nokia Lumia 520 and 720 will get Bluetooth 4.0 LE support. Other features include an orientation lock, new drive mode, ability to close apps from the multi-task menu, unfortunately, the devices can’t support Nokia Refocus and Nokia Beamer which need minimum of 1GB RAM as on Nokia Lumia 525. There is also report that the update adds double tap to wake feature to the device with this Black update.
The update is being pushed gradually, but you can manually check the update by going to Settings ->Phone update menu. Users on carriers may have to wait little more, update for many carriers are still listed as Pending review.
