Samsung Tizen Event confirmed, February 23 at MWC
We have heard about Tizen several times, new OS that Samsung will introduce in the market on its new smartphone. The Tizen was originally scheduled for the mid 2013, but for many reasons, the announcement delayed but glad it is not dead. The company is still working on it , and now it seems that it is almost here.
Although Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo made a request to the Samsung to deliver the device by the end of January, the Samsung couldn’t do it and now it seems like the NTT Docomo has left for good. But Samsung is not going to stop it there and report suggests that the company has a plan to introduce the device at upcoming MWC that is just a month away from now. The company has now sent out invites for the event and the even will be held at the Arts Hotel in Barcelona on February 23.
Unfortunately, the specification details of the Tizen device is still scarce and we will have to further wait for the info. The only info out there so far is about its camera that Samsung announced at the Tzen OS Developer Summit in Seoul back in November 2014. Samsung will be using company’s NX-300M mirrorless camera on the device.
So, hopefully the company will not delay the event further and we will keep you posted when more details are available.
