Sony unveils Xperia T2 Ultra, T2 Ultra Dual and Xperia E1, E1 Dual
Sony has added two new smartphones to its portfolio for Asian and African markets. Dubbed Sony Xperia T2 Ultra and Ultra dual and Xperia E1 and E1 dual, are 6 and 4-inch devices with mid and low-end specs inside.
The Xperia T2 Ultra is a mid-end phablet that would be competing with likes of Galaxy Mega. The device has got the stylish and glossy outfit like other Xperia lines. The device will come in black, white and purple.
The Xperia T2 Ultra is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.4Ghz and sports a huge 6.0-inch display with 1280×720 resolution as well as other usual Sony display features like TRILUMINOS and Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2. The phablet has a 1GB of RAM and on the back is 13MP Exmor RS camera and 1.1MP on the front for video call.
The device comes with 8GB of storage and packs a 3,000mAh battery with Sony’s Battery STAMINA mode. The smartphone will be available in two variants, single SIM T2 Ultra and the dual-SIM T2 Ultra dual.
The Xperia E1 is a low-end device for budget customers. The smartphone has not-that impressive design unlike other Xperia lines out there. The highlight that Sony claim is audio playback aspect, with which the device is capable of delivering 100dB and the device also offers dedicated Walkman button, shake to shuffle and hardware buttons for controlling audio playback.
The Xperia E1 is built with dual-core, 1.2GHz processor inside and sports a 4.0-inch, 800×480 resolution display, 512MB of RAM , 4GB of storage and microSD card slot. The smartphone will be available in dual and single SIM mode and in black, white and purple colors, Xperia E1 and Xperia E1 Dual. There is no details on availability and pricing
