Dual-OS booting Geeksphone Revolution released; pricing €222

You may remember the Geeksphone Revolution, the smartphone that can dual-boot OSs, Android and an alternative OS. Finally the device has gone on sale .

The smartphone powered by a dual-core 1.6 GHz Intel Atom processor sports a 4.7-inch IPS display, 1GB of RAM, and a 8MP primary camera alongside a 1.3MP front-facer and 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded further via microSD. The device packs a decent 2000 mAh battery.

The smartphone is coming with one-touch switching option to switch between OSs you have on your Geeksphone. The smartphone runs Android as base OS and  Mozilla’s browser-centric Firefox OS is the preferable alternative one. But  it also indicates the phone can also run other OSs.

The Geeksphone is reportedly slow on Firefox, it could be the problem of the OS itself and hope it has been fixed and now offers a smooth performance and fast application loading and switching.

If you are interested in this Revolution, you can have the device directly from Geeksphone’s site for a price of €222  and the company offers worldwide shipping.
