HP ElitePad 1000 G2 Wind8.1 Tablet unveiled; Specs & Price
HP has already taken the wrap off couple of devices and here is yet another tablet that the company has brought to the MWC 2014. The tablet is dubbed HP ElitePad 1000 G2, and is a complete business solution running on Windows 8.1 Pro and measures at 9.2mm thin and weighs in at 1.5lbs.
The HP ElitePad 1000 G2 is 10.1-inch device sporting a display of 1920 x 1200 resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The device is built around an Intel Atom Bay Trail-T Z3795 quad-core 1.6GHz processor along with integrated Intel HD Graphics and 4GB of RAM. Teh tablet will be available in two flavors of storage which includes 64GB and 128GB of storage.
The tablet is also coming with extensive wireless connectivity, including 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4 + Low Energy. The tablet also features HP ElitePad Docking Station, a 2-cell/30WHr HP Long Life battery and a slot up to 2TB. HP has added high-definition audio with DTS Sound+ and couple of built-in stereo speakers along with two integrated microphones and 3.5mm audio jack.
Features complete with sensors including an ambient light sensor, a gyroscope, haptics, eCompass, and an accelerometer. The HP ElitePad 1000 G2 is priced at $739 USD and should be available for purchase soon.
