HP Pavilion x360 Convertible Laptop official; Specs and Price
You may know the Lenovo Yoga convertible laptop and I think HP was completely impressed by the design and the company has come to the MWC 2014 with a complete copy of the device having almost all same features of the Yoga convertible laptop. The new 11-inch laptop is dubbed HP Pavilion x360, yes indicating its 360 degree hinge and naturally offers different modes such as “stand mode” and “tent mode”.
The laptop is not that robust internally, so expect it to be available for an affordable price. The convertible notebook is powered by a a Pentium-series Intel Bay Trail processor and sports a a 1,366 x 768 display and 500GB hard drive, don’t expect an SSD for that price. The laptop also features Beats Audio, and adding a little sugar to the deal, the device features three USB ports and a full-sized HDMI port. Better side of the convertible tablet is its display technology IPS, should offer a wide viewing angle and vivid color.
For connectivity, you have also got HP DataPass for 3G+ or 4G mobile broadband which allows users to hook up to the internet with two-years of free internet by Fogg Mobile. Users can use up to 250mb of data for free with this service.
“The HP Pavilion x360 is perfect for today’s busy lifestyles. Its 360-degree hinge allows multitaskers to easily transition from laptop to tent to tablet. It’s the laptop that doesn’t make you miss your tablet and the tablet that doesn’t make you miss your laptop—all at a price that is similar to an entry-level notebook.” – Ron Coughlin, senior vice president, Consumer PC and Solutions Group, HP
The battery capacity is not revealed, but expect it to last four hours. The laptop is priced at $399.99 USD and release date is February 26th . The device will be available in Red and Silver.
