Panasonic announces Lumix DMC-GH4 DSLM 4K Digital Camera
Panasonic has unveiled a new digital camera on its Lumix series and the company claims it to be its first ever Digital Single Lens Mirrorless (DSLM) camera that delivers 4K video recording. The camera is coming with a 16.05-megapixel Digital Live MOS Sensor and a quad-core processor. The camera is dubbed Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH4 DSLM and comes with a body made of magnesium alloy that is for durability and the camera is splash and dust-proof.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH4 DSLM can shoot videos at Cinema 4K (4096×2160/24fps)and QFHD 4K (3840×2160/30fps) in both MP4 and MOV formats and also delivers videos in lesser resolution Full HD at 200Mbps ALL-Intra or 100Mbps IPB and comes with 59.94Hz, 50Hz, and 24Hz options.
For images, the camera can offer 12 frames-per-second up to 40 stills in RAW format while up to 100 stills in other formats. The camera ISO can reach up to 25,600 ISO and comes with Contrast AF and integrated Depth from Defocus.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH4 DSLM also has high-speed OLED display of 2,359K-dot and 1,036K-dot rear display. The view finder has a 10,000:1 high-contrast ratio which the company promises an excellent color.
Unfortunately, the pricing and availability for the camera are yet to be announced.
