Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet official with Specs; releasing in March
As rumored, Sony has uncovered its new iteration of Tablet Z, dubbed Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet at MWC 2014 and naturally the Xperia Z2 Tablet is water and dust resistant, with scratch-proof glass panels. The tablet has an Xperia Z phone-touch in design with a flat front and back.
The Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet is built around Snapdragon 800 chipset with Krait 400 cores clocked at 2.3GHz and sports a 10.1″ Full HD (1920 x 1200px) display utilizing Sony’s latest display technologies – Triluminos display with Live Color LED plus X-Reality mobile picture engine. The tablet has Adreno 330 graphics, 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage , which is expandable via microSD card slot.
On the camer side, the Xperia Z2 Tablet offers 8.1MP rear and 2MP front cameras, that is almost same to its predecessor but boasts an upgraded with the latest Exmor RS sensor. Both cameras can shoot videos at 1080p resolution and even HDA.
The new slate from Sony will be offered in two flavors, WiFi and LTE. Other connectivity features NFC, GPS with GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.0, IR emitter and microUSB 2.0 with MHL 3.0 support. Gladly Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet is coming with latest Android 4.4 KitKat and latest version of Sony’s proprietary launcher on top of it.
The tablet will be available in two colors, black and white and release date is set to March while pricing for t he device is unknown.
