YotaPhone 2 with e-ink touchscreen Display announced at MWC 2014
There was rumor that YotaPhone would announce its next iteration and it has been true with the announcement of new YotaPhone at MWC 2014. The YotaPhone was first announced back in 2013 and what made it different from others is its e-Ink display on the back of the device. And new YotaPhone 2 is coming with some upgrades in both specs and design.
YotaPhone now has got a more attractive design with round corners slightly resembles of the Nexus devices and larger 4.7-inch e-ink display. The smartphone is powered by 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor and sports a 5-inch Full HD OLED display with a pixel whopping density of 442PPI. The smartphone also has 8MP camera, a 2MP front-facing camera, and a larger battery at 2,550mAh. YoTaPhone 2 e-ink display is now fully touchscreen that will offer more interaction.
The company has also added some power-saving mode, means the device automatically turns off the main display and instead you can use the back display to view notifications. The smartphone also features a host of connectivity including NFC, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS making the device a really competitive one to mainstream smartphones.
Unfortunately company hasn’t said anything about its pricing but all what we know is the new YotaPhone will be available i n more countries including UK, UAE and most European countries. Currently its first gen device is available Russia, Germany, France, Austria , Spain and Switzerland.
