ZTE announces Grand Memo II LTE Phablet at MWC 2014

After announcing the Firefox OS -based smartphone, at MWC 2014 ZTE has unveiled a new phablet dubbed Grand Memo II LTE  with a massiv 6″ screen and decent specs inside.

The phablet is powered by Snapdragon 400 processor sports a 6″ 720p screen, 2 gigs of RAM, a 13 MP f/2.2 main cam and 5 MP front-facing shooter. The device packs a juicy 3200mAh battery and the company promises that it can last 16 hours of HD video.

“The Grand Memo II LTE is designed to meet the increasing user demand for stylish design with an intuitive user experience. High performance technology must be met with a simplistic user interface which allows users to customize their experience based on personal preferences,” said, Mr Zeng Xuezhong, CEO of ZTE Mobile Devices and Executive Vice President of ZTE Corporation.

The phablet certainly has LTE connectivity along with other usual features  and runs on latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS with ZTE’s MiFavor 2.3 OS on top. The ZTE Grand Memo II LTE is staggeringly thin at 7.2 mm.

The smartphone will be launched first in China in April followed by North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
