CTL introduces rugged CTL NL6 Education Chromebook; Specs and Price
CTL, the company mainly known for affordable handsets are finally entering to the Chromebook battlefield. The company’s new product is not only affordable but also rugged which makes the device suitable for students who may be severe or overactive. CTL’s Chromebook is also one of the first models based on Intel’s Education Chromebook reference design. Just like the other Chromebooks out there, CTL’s Chromebook is also aimed at education sectors, although the device is open for anyone who want one and can pick it up from the CTL Website
In terms of specs, the CTL Chromebook is powered by an Intel Celeron N2930 quad-core Bay Trail processor and has a fanless design. It shouldn’t be a problematic as the chipset within will not produce that much heat unlike other high-end processor.
The Chromebook is pretty robust in other features as well. The device boasts a 11.6″ 1366 x 768 pixel anti-glare display and packs a 4GB of RAM, 16GB of SSD and 1MP swivel camera that can rotate. The device also features an optional snap-on lens for 30x magnification which let’s you use the device like a digital mangifying glass.
The CTL Chromebook also features a host of ports which include an HDMI port, 1 USB 3.0 port, 1 USB 2.0 port, and an SD card reader. Moreover, the device comes with built-in 802.11n WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 on connectivity side.
The Chromebook can last up to 8 hours on a single charge. The device packs a 36Whr, 3200mAh battery. Other handy features include carrying handle, a spill-proof keyboard and scratch-resistant keys.
