Apple releases iOS 8 beta 4; features Tip App
You may know that Apple is working on its next version of iOS first introduced at WWDC and the company has now introduced iOS beta 4. The OS is expected to bring some new features and the latest beta version includes some improvement as well as bug fixes and new features.
The iOS beta 4 has got some redesign as well. The OS offers a redesigned Control Center and a new Display & Brightness section in Settings. The Bug Reporter app which was introduced in earlier beta version has been removed and the Message section has got some improvements too. You could also find some design tweaks to the bookmarks icon and the keyboard settings in Safari.
However, the great addition in the latest beta version is inclusion of the Tip apps. As the name suggests, the app is aimed at new users to provide more easier way to learn how to use some certain features and the app is bound to get updates often.
The app comes with a quick notification feature, sending voice messages, using Siri and more. For instance, the App would tell you that you could access Siri just by saying “Hey, Siri,”, that is just like Android users open Google Search by saying “Okay, Google,”. And note that the app can’t be uninstalled, but users will certainly find it quiet useful.
The app is now available for developers and if you already have iOS 8 beta 3, the update should come OTA (over-the-air). You could also get it from iOS developer center.
