HTC’s Windows Phone One W8 leaks; features Full HD display & Duo Camera
Among Android smartphone, HTC One M8 is one of the flagship devices that many enjoys using but there can be those who want it with Windows Phone OS and it seems like the device with the OS is in making. There have already been rumors and leaks of purported device and here is yet another leak just day before HTC’s New York City event where the company is anticipated to launch its Windows Phone 8-powered HTC One W8.
The device in the pic doesn’t have any physical differences from its Android counterpart except for the Windows Phone name imprinted on the back and Windows Phone 8 tiles. When it comes Windows Phone Nokia would be the first name coming into out mind, but if the leaks are true, W8 is certainly gonna change that and many people would certainly like to have a premium looking W8.
It seems like the HTC is getting more into Windows Phone love and this is not the first and will not be the last WP device from the manufacture. HTC Windows Phone 8x and 8S are last in the lineup.
In terms of specs, nothing is certain, but the HTC One W8 is expected to pack a high-end specs that matches its Android counterpart. The W8 is rumored to come with a 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. And thanks to the microSD card slot, you are not stuck with 32GB and more interestingly, 5-inch Full HD LCD3 screen.
In the camera department, the device is touted to have the same Duo Camera found on the One M8 and if that is true, W8 will be the first Windows Phone smartphone to have such feature. HTC One W8 is also believed to be compatible with HTC’s Dot View case, that is also first to the OS.
For connectivity, the device certainly has a 4G LTE support and expect other usual features including NFC. The device has Verizon logo on the back and must be heading to the carrier first,.
