Huawei announces affordable Honor 3C Play, Specs and Price
You may know the Huawei‘s recently announced Honor 3C and it seems that the company has realized that there are those who want its affordable one. Well, Huawei has announced its affordable version dubbed Honor 3C Play which was recently teased.
The new device is a cheaper smartphone but offers a decent specs for the price. And yea You can’t expect a high-end functionality and specs inside, but there is enough juice inside to get your things done. The device also has a pretty large display and design-wise the smartphone looks similar to its bigger brother.
In terms of specs, the Huawei Honor 3C Play is built around MediaTek’s MT6582 chipset that runs a quad-core 1.3GHz Cortex-A7 CPU and Mali400-MP2 GPU. The smartphone has 1GB of RAM that should offer neat, but not-so impressive multitasking experience. Yea Android always needed a bit more power underneath to get multiple task done at a time.
Other features include 8MP of primary camera, 2MP of front-facing unit and 16GB of internal storage. Moreover, the device comes with dual-SIM support.
Honor 3C Play runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean customized with Huawei’s proprietary Emotion UI out of the box.
The smartphone is expected to hit the Chinese market soon while its availability in other countries is not known. But as an affordable device, the smartphone should make it to popular Asians markets like India. In China Honor 3C Play is priced at CNY 599 (€72 or $97).
