Apple Watch with square sapphire display unveiled; pricing $350
Along with Apple iPhone 6 and Iphone 6 Plus, Apple also announced another most rumored device, the Apple Watch which was previously known as iWatch but leaving all the concept designs in vain. The Apple Watch comes with squared screen in a 38mm and 42mm cases.
The Apple Watch slightly resembling the iPod nano, with a little twist in design. The watch will be available in more affordable stainless steel and aluminum versions as well as 18 karat gold version. And all models will be offered with changeable wristbands, ceramic backs and sapphire screens and among them are 6 different bands at the launch.
The watch is its smart enough to recognize your wrist’s movement and will wake up from sleep when your wrist moves upward, which makes sure energy savings thus increasing the battery life.
The touchscreen of the Apple Watch is force-sensitive and you can add custom gestures. And Siri is also part of the Watch and can recognize questions from incoming messages and give you appropriate responses.
The Watch is also able to monitor your heart rate and notifications from your iPhone will pop up on the wearable and Apple is planning to release a WatchKit that will let developers create custom apps.
Apple Watch is charged via Magsafe wireless adapter, with a magnet which will guide the charger to the right place.
Apple Watch is priced at $350, but will be available only in early 2015.
