Asus Zenbook UX305 is a thin Ultrabook featuring 13.3” Matte screen and 10 Hours of Battery

Asus has upgraded its Zenbook UX series with a new addition to the lineup, dubbed Zenbook UX305. The new ultrabook was unveiled at IFA 2014 and is claimed to be thinner than Apple MacBook Air .

The UX305 is a 13.3 inch notebook with 3200 x 1800 pixel resolution IPS display and is super thin and light. The device measures just 0.48 inches thin and weighs in only 2.64 pounds.

In terms of specs, the Zenbook UX305 is powered by a low-power Core M “Broadwell” processor and packs up to 256GB of solid state storage and a battery promised to last 10 hours.

The ultrabook also features HDMI output, 802.11ac WiFi, 3 USB ports, a headset jack, and an SD card reader as well as Bang & Olufsen speakers.

The laptop will be available in two colors that include Ceramic Alloy, and Obsidian Stone.
