Garmin 2014 nüvi Advanced Series Navigation System released; pricing $199.99
When it comes to navigation systems , Garmin Nuvi might be the first company coming into your mind. And for 2014 edition the company has introduced a whole new series Garmin nuvi Advanced series with a combination of 3 different displays ranging 5″, 6″ and 7″. How the device differ from other is its multi-touch display and the company has this time managed to include Foursquare venues, thus finding new and popular restaurants and stores, among others will be with a press of the screen.
The new Garmin 2014 nuvi Advanced navigation system is also coming with Direct Access that is new feature allowing you to explore locations within complex area that include malls and airports.
The new GPS system also offers pinch to zoom functionality making it easy to spot places. As it has large screen, the device will offer intuitive experience with newly added on screen features. For instance, map-centric interface presents features such as lane guidance and traffic in split-view windows next to the map and all Advanced models will come with HERE Maps and promised with lifetime map updates and traffic avoidance.
Other features include Garmin Real Directions, photoReal and Bird’s Eye Junction View. The Real Directions guide drivers in a natural way. The feature utilizes recognizable landmarks, buildings, traffic lights and stop signs to direct drivers. The company also offers some models with voice-activated navigation and Bluetooth wireless technology that enables you to make hands-free calling and Bluetooth-enabled models supports Garmin Smartphone Link, app for Android and iPhone.
2014 Garmin nüvi Advanced Series is priced from $199.99 to $349.99 and available on sale now. Garmin a few months back at CES launched a nuvi version with backup camera.
