Gigabyte GSmart Arty A3, Mika M2, Guru & Roma 2 Plus Edition launched; Specs and Price
Gigabyte has just launched latest four Android smartphones. And the devices will be sold in Russia and select European countries. The smartphones include Roma R2 Plus Edition, GSmart Arty A3, Gigabyte GSmart Mika 2 and Gigabyte GSmart Guru (White Edition). In terms of specs, the smartphone rang from low-end to a mid-range.
The first one is Roma R2 Plus Edition, which is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core CPU and 1GB of RAM. The smartphone sports a 4″ IPS display of 800 x 480 pixel resolution, a 5MP camera with LED flash, VGA one for selfies and 8GB coupled with a microSD which supports up to 32GB of storage.
The Roma R2 Plus Edition runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and packs a 1,400mAh battery. The device will hit Russia in black, white, red and blue for a price of $130 (RUB 4,990). The smartphone scales 125 x 63.2 х 9.3mm and weighs 120 grams.
The Gigabyte Roma R2 Plus Edition is joined by its bro GSmart Arty A3. The smartphone packs a MediaTek MT6582 chipset with quad-core 1.3GHz Cortex-A7 CPU and 1GB of RAM. The smartphone has bigger 5″ 854 x 480 pixel display, 4GB of internal storage that is expandable via microSD card slot, 8MP camera with LED flash and front snapper of 2MP. Teh camera on the phone can shoot videos at 1080p.
Gigabyte GSmart Arty A3 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and packs a decent 2,000mAh battery. The phone measures 145 x 73.2 x 9.4mm and weighs 165 grams. A3 will cost you $150 (RUB 5,790).
Next in the series is Gigabyte GSmart Mika 2, a mid-ranger with pretty decent specs inside. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek MT6582 chipset and sports a 5″ IPS display of 720p resolution, 13MP camera with 1080p video recording, 5MP front-facing and 8GB with microSD card slot.
The smartphone is priced at $182 (RUB 6,990) and will comes with a 2000mAh battery.
Last but not least, the Gigabyte GSmart Guru (White Edition), powerful of all with Mediatek MT6589T chipset packing a quad-core 1.5GHz Cortex-A7 CPU and 2GB of RAM. The smartphone boasts 5″ 1080p IPS display and 13MP camera on the back. The GSmart Guru packs a beefy battery too at 3,000mAh along with 32GB of internal storage. Unfortunate, you are stuck with that memory available on the device.
The GSmart Guru measures 8.5mm thick and weighs 165 grams. But the vague thing about the device is it is running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, but it must get an update in the near future. The Guru is priced at $259 (RUB 9,990) and will soon be available in the aforementioned market. So are you going to get any of these devices?
