HP Slate 7 Beats Special Edition launched; pricing $250

HP has added a new addition to its 7 inch Android tablets called HP Slate 7 Beat Special Edition .The tablet has been on rumor for a while and finally it is out with as expected, Beats audio.

The tablet is basically modified version of its Slate 7 Extreme based on NIVDIA Tegra Note 7. The tablet features a long-stretched stereo speakers at bottom and top of its display in front and comes with NVIDIA DirectStylus pen.

Spec-wise, HP Slate 7 Beat Special Edition is powered by an NVIDIA Tegra 4 quad-core processor and packs a 7 inch, 1280 x 800 pixel display, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.

The tablet has usual connectivity features like 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS as well as ports such as micro HDMI port, microSD card reader. The Slate 7 Beat Special Edition runs on Android 4.4 KitKat

The slate packs 4100mAh battery that is good for 9 hours. The tablet is priced at 25,000 yen, or about $233 US and will also go on sale in Japan starting September 26th
