Motorola Moto 360 SmartWatch released; pricing $250
Finally Motorola revealed the secrets about its most anticipated SmartWatch Moto 360. Despite its earlier announcement, the company didn’t detail much about the device including pricing. At the IFA 2014, as expected, the company has taken the wrap off and revealed everything about the device.
In terms of specs, the Moto 360 is built around TI OMAP 3 processor and packs 4GB internal memory and 512MB of RAM. The usual watch-like device has a button on the side for waking it up, a vibrator motor for notifications, and dual microphones.
The watch sports a 1.56-inch display with 320×290 resolution (205PPI) and semi-circular form. The smartwatch boasts Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection and IP67 certification, which means you can submerge the device in water up to 30 minutes in a depth of 1 meter. Moto 360 weighs 49g.
Moto 360 has a 320mAh battery which the company claims to last 12 hours and you can charge the device wirelessly via wireless charging dock.
The smartwach will be available in three variants that include Light stainless steel case with gray Horween leather band, Dark stainless steel case with black Horween leather band and Light stainless steel case with stone Horween leather band.
Moreover, the device will be compatible with all Android devices running 4.3 or higher version.
Standard model of Motorola Moto 36o is priced at $249.99 while the device with metal band option will cost you $300.
