It seems like Samsung is on to something. We have just reported about Galaxy A5 and now it looks like there are two variants in the work. The new one on the list is apparently Galaxy A3 with model number SM-A300, that sounds a cut-down version of Galaxy Alpha in terms of specs.
The device details appeared on GFX Bench info page and the device is expected to sport a 4.8″ screen with 540 x 960 pixels of qHD resolution, 8MP on the back and 5MP on the front and surprisingly both camera capable of capturing 1080p video.

Although the device is touted to be Alpha sub-series, it is yet to be known if these trimmed-down version will have the same premium features of Galaxy Alpha.
