Sony Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact and E3 unveiled at IFA 2014
Sony has finally unveiled its latest addition to its Xperia series. The new devices include Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact and E3 and were unveiled at IFA 2014. These devices have been in rumors for a while and Sony put a period to it by taking the wrap off the devices.
Sony Xperia Z3 is the powerful of all with 5.2 inch screen and water-proof body. The device is powered by quad-core 2.5GHz MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801 chip coupled with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 330 graphics.
The smartphone sports a 5.2 inches screen with a 1920 x 1080 pixel display, 16GB of storage and microSD card slots that can support up to 128GB. The device packs a 20.7MP rear camera and 2.2Mp front-facing camera , with LED Flash on the back. And for connectivity, the device has WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, aGPS, and GLONASS support. And powering these features is a 3100mAh battery for up to 19 hours of talk time.
The Xperia Z3 Compact is basically the Z3 except for some differences. The Compact sports the same processor and RAM while rocking a 4.6″ screen with 720p resolution. The device packs a 2GB of RAM, 2,600mAh battery that is good for up to 14 hours of talk time.
The Z3 Compact also features dual glass panel and measures just 8.64mm that is a bit thicker than 7.3mm of Xperia Z3.
Finally the Xperia E3, is a cheapest in the lineup with 4.5-inch 480 x 854px display. The device packs quad-core 1.2GHz processor, and Adreno 305 graphics. And on the camera side, you get a 5MP of rear camera and 1.3MP of selfie camera. Other features include 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of internal storage and 2,330mAh battery. The Xperia E3 will come in an exclusive yellow color.
