13.3″ Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro with Built-in Projector announced; Specs and Price
At the Yoga event, Lenovo also announced the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro. The tablet running Android has some cool features and boasts premium profile.
The tablet sports a 13.3″ QHD display but the coolest thing about the device is an integrated projector, which lets you beam the slate’s display on up to 50″ surface. Certainoly this is not the first device to feature a built-in projector. Samsung had launched one smartphone dubbed Samsung Galaxy Beam back in 2012.
Furthermore, the Tablet 2 Pro also boasts a 5W JBL subwoofer and two 1.5W front-facing speakers. This makes up for an 8W surround sound system, which should offer chilling sound effect when you play games or watching movie.
The tablet is powered by an Intel Atom Z3745 Bay Trail processor and 2GB of RAM. The device has 32GB of solid state storage and a microSD card slot . At the back of the tablet is an 8MP f/2.2 camera with LED flash, while at the front 1.6MP 720p snapper for video calls. The slate packs 15 hours of battery and all of these decent features make up about 950 grams.
The tablet comes with cool stand to keep it in different viewing angles. In addition to the old Stand, Tilt and Hold , a new Hang mode allows you to hang the tablet on a wall.
For connectivity, the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro 13.3″ has USB on-the-go, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (but no 802.11ac), Bluetooth 4.0 and LTE.
Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro 13.3″ will be released at the end of October. And non-LTE model is priced at $499. Check out a quick promo video below and feel free to drop your comments in the box.
