Best Buy offers Lenovo Tab S8 Tablet for $200
Lenovo announced its latest Tab S8 back in September but the device didn’t go on sale straight away. If you have been waiting for the device, good news is that the Tab S8 has finally gone on sale in the US.
The Tab S8 is mow available for purchase from Best Buy. Lenovo Tab S8 is priced at $200, that is certainly a bit more than some of the Windows 8.1 tablets out there but that is because Microsoft has started to give away Windows licenses for OEM partners.
The tablet is powered by a 64-bit Intel Atom Z3745 quad-core Bay Trail processor and packs an 8-inch, 1920 x 1200 pixel display, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage. The tablet also has an 8MP rear camera and 1.6MP front camera.
The slate comes with usual connectivity features like WiFi and Bluetooth and runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat but that may not be able to completely utilize 64-bit architecture. However Google’s next Android version will hopefully come with greater support for 64-bit devices and utilizes the power inside. So an update to Android L can certainly be expected for this device.
Other features include a micro USB port, a microSD card slot, and a 4290 mAh battery for up to 7 hours of battery life. The tablet is same size as the Asus MeMO Pad 7 ME572 which also carries a 64-bit CPU. So are you getting this device?
