Google Nexus 6 hits FCC; Pre-order starts October 29
Since the announcement, Nexus fans across the world are eagerly waiting for its arrival in the market. With October 29 pre-order date on the horizon, we were wondering when it would hit FCC. Well, the smartphone has finally appeared at FCC and pre-order should start as expected on October 29.
The device has spotted under two listing with Motorola FCC ID attached and IHDT56QD1 and IHDT56QD2. The difference could be due to the face that there are two models of the Nexus 6, XT1103 (US variant) and XT1100 international model.
One thing we must point out that FCC hasn’t filed the device with ‘Nexus’ moniker. However, the listing has enough info in order to confirm the device.
The device in question has measurements that match up to the Nexus 6, 159.4mm x 83mm and on Google Play the measurement is 159.26×82.98mm. FCC has also revealed its support for different bands that include LTE bands 2, 4, 5, 7, 12, 13, 17, 25, 26, and 41, CDMA2000 BC 0/1/10 for Verizon and Sprint and GSM bands for T-Mobile and AT&T. Moreover, the device has wireless support.
So these details are enough to confirm the device and as we said the device should go on pre-order starting October 29. Nexus 9 on the other hand has already gone on pre-order.
