Sharp Aquos Crystal for Boost Mobile and Sprint goes on Sale; pricing $149.99
The Sharp launched its latest Sharp Aqous Crystal Android smartphone a while ago in Japan and was supposed to be launched on Sprint two weeks later, but for some unknown delays it took the carrier a while to finally bring it to the coast. However, better later than never right? If you have been waiting for the device for a while since it was announced, you gotta cheer up, yes the device has finally made its way to both Sprint and Boost Mobile.
The smartphone is available from Boost Mobile for a price of $149.99 sans contract. Sprint is also offering the Aquos Crystal via its Easy Pay service for 24 payments of $10. You don’t have to make any initial payment at the Sprint for the device. If you don’t want to sign a contract, you can get the device for a price of $149.99 off-contract starting October 21.
Internally, Sharp Aquos Crystal offers a 5″ 720p display, Snapdragon 400 with a quad-core 1.2GHz processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of storage and a 2,040mAh battery. It also packs a Harmon Kardon-branded sound package with Clari-Fi and LiveStage tech.
The phone has MP snapper with LED as well as a 1.2MP camera for selfies and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat right out of the box.
What makes this phone so appealing is its bezel-less design that is so eye-catchy. The smartphone’s front-camera unlike major devices is immediate below the display making it possible to cut the extra bezel at the top.
