Sony reportedly working on Xperia Z4; Specs leak
You know Z3 hasn’t been out for that long but as a manufacturer the company keeps working and it seems like next version of its flagship is on work and not only that, we have got a whole lot of details about the new device apparently named Xperia Z4.
Can we trust the source? Well, the details are coming from the same source that successfully predicted to be precise leaked the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, mean the info below should be pretty much reliable.
Recently there has been a rumor that the company is working on a device called Xperia Z3X, an upgraded version of Xperia Z3,and the benchmark result appeared online. However, that doesn’t mean whatever you heard about Xperia Z3X is fake, but the new star in the rumor, Xperia Z4 shares similar specs with Z3X and Z3X could a prototype version of the device.
The Xperia Z4 is rumored to sport a 5.5-inch touchscreen with QHD (2,560×1,440) resolution, and a new curvy rear shooter that will have about the same 20.7 MP resolution you find on Xperia Z3. The smartphone is expected to come powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC, with a 2.8 GHz octa-core CPU and a whopping 4GB of RAM. And Sony seems to be doing everything it can to offer the best for its users.
Moreover, the device will have Cat.6 LTE with a peak download speed of 300 Mbps. There will certainly be Bluetooth 4.0 and also a dedicated amplifier on board.
It seems that the company is changing the timeframe in which the company would introduce new flagships. Sony usually launches new device every six month but with Z4, this may change and we may not see Z5 in 2015. And I think Sony may not need one as this one itself has premium specs under the hood.
The new Sony Xperia Z4 launch date expected to be around March, that could coincide with Mobile World Congress.
