Verizon Sony Xperia Z3v announced; Specs, Price and Release Date
Sony has finally announced the latest Xperia Z3v for Verizon Wireless. Xperia Z3v is basically Xperia Z3 although it kinda looks like Xperia Z2. Oh yea a new device in an old bottle, I think that is the right terminology. And both Sony and Verizon have this time joined the hands to add Qi wireless charging capability into the device.
Spec-wise, the Verizon Xperia Z3v is powered by powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC with 2.5GHz quad-core CPU and sports a 5.2” 1080p Triluminos with Live Color LED and X-Reality, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of built-in memory and a microSD card slot.
At the back lies a 20.7MP camera with 4K video capture. The smartphone also features PlayStation 4 Remote Play via Wi-Fi and stereo speakers. You can pair the device with a PS4 wireless controller. The smartphone runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat right out of the box.
Verizon alos plans to offer number of accessories for the device, that include Sony Smartwatch 3 for a price of $249.99, CPW5 wireless charger with built-in battery for $59.99 , and PS4 wireless controller with GCM10 mount for $59.99 and $39.99 respectively.
The Verizon Sony Xperia Z3v is priced at $199.99 with typical two-year contract and release date is set to October 23. The company released a short promo video that is below.
