Verizon teases Motorola DROID Turbo via its Twitter Account
Some of the Droid series from Motorola really made splash in the past with high-end specs and aesthetic design, but it has been a while since we saw a new DROID from the company and the carrier Verizon. However, it seems that a new DROID is in the work and has made news in the past few days. And today the device appeared on the carrier’s Twtter account.
According to previous leaks and rumors, the DROID Turbo will come with 5.2″ big with QHD resolution (2,560 x 1,440 pixels) , 21MP camera with dual-LED flash and 2160p video capture and Snapdragon 805 chipset – 4x Krait 450 CPU @ 2.65GHz. The smartphone will have 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage with microSD card slot for further expansion. The smartphone is expected to pack 3900mAh battery
The phablet will support Moto Display which is a notifications of messages, calls and more show up on a sleeping display saving much power.
The new image showing smooth back of the device appeared on Verizon’s @DroidLanding Twitter account for while and it was taken down later but that was not before someone downloaded the image. The pic shows the supposed 21MP camera with dual LED flash and looks a bit chunky.
Anyway, release date and price for the device are yet to be revealed but stay tuned we will keep you posted.
